Improved AI Builder and Power Automate – April 2020

[vc_btn title=”Back to the Video Library” color=”warning” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fdynamics365society.uk%2Fmicrosoft-video-library%2F|||”]

In New Zealand it is mandatory for a new employee to complete an IRD (Inland Revenue Department) Tax declaration form.

I wanted to to see if this use case in New Zealand could be automated and last year tried out AI Builder. After engaging with the product team on the latest features ahead of release, it’s now completely possible to automate what was once seen a manual data entry task.

Meet the improved AI Builder with Power Automate ?

If you would like to provide feedback on AI Builder, please head to https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas and suggest an idea

**Please note any names and IRD Numbers used were random and is a coincidence if tied to a real person**

Demo of a Power Automate flow that exposes an extensive amount of otherwise hidden metadata related to files uploaded to SharePoint Libraries leveraging the SharePoint RenderListDataAsStream REST API.

An associated Power App demos showcases how the data exposes with the flow can be consumed in an app and the value surfacing this information can add to your own apps.
