PowerApps ShowColumns() is your way of accessing a data source but bringing in only those columns that you really need.
Whilst it’s not something that I use all the time it’s probably best reserved for those datasets, particularly where you’re creating a collection, that have a signficant amount of columns that you don’t particularly need.
